{"id":28,"date":"2007-04-13T19:07:16","date_gmt":"2007-04-14T02:07:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.elsweb.org\/shayden\/2007\/04\/13\/kindred-spirits\/"},"modified":"2007-04-13T19:08:40","modified_gmt":"2007-04-14T02:08:40","slug":"kindred-spirits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.elsweb.org\/shayden\/2007\/04\/13\/kindred-spirits\/","title":{"rendered":"Kindred Spirits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">All the talk about soul mates has made me think.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>I feel like soul mates are two kindred spirits, not necessarily meaning that they must be romantically involved.. <span>\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>I think this is more of the case for Eben and Jennie.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Even through their age difference, they are like minds and were pulled together because of it.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t even think it was so much of a romantic thing.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>I really do not think Eben\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s intentions for her are purely romantic, but his draw to her is that she gets him like no one else in the book does.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>This is the reason he needs her and dreams of her coming back to him.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>No one else can relate to him the way she does and understand him.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Once she dies he is okay with it because she will be with him in spirit.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>I feel like in real life we can have that connection in many different forms and in more than one relationship.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>Certainly if we find that kind of connection, whether it be in the form of a friend or a lover, we will try to hold onto it for the rest of our lives.
