{"id":24,"date":"2007-04-05T10:12:57","date_gmt":"2007-04-05T17:12:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.elsweb.org\/shayden\/2007\/04\/05\/gone-but-not-forgotten\/"},"modified":"2007-04-05T10:13:33","modified_gmt":"2007-04-05T17:13:33","slug":"gone-but-not-forgotten","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.elsweb.org\/shayden\/2007\/04\/05\/gone-but-not-forgotten\/","title":{"rendered":"Gone but Not Forgotten"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">I know I am a little late with this but I finally watched Gates of Heaven and I loved it.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>This is definitely my favorite of Morris\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s film.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>All I could think after seeing it was WOW!<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>The family\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s statements about life and death are so profound and just really resonated with me.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>I tried to figure out who had the best grip on the matter but I feel like all three (Cal, Danny, and Phillip) had very interesting things to say.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>This really hit home for me right now because over the weekend one of my good friends died in a car accident.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>I was so moved by this film and at times became emotional over what the people were saying.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span>It is important to get that closure when mourning a loved one (whether it is a human or an animal) in order for those that remain to move on with life.<span>\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">R.I.P.
