So, the truth is difficult to know but not impossible.\u00c2\u00a0 But how do we learn? Are we going to learn it best by jumping out there in the world with a camera in our hands or by sitting in a class and watching someone else&#8217;s film? But even if we are holding the camera ourselves, can one argue that really we&#8217;re just a spectator on steroids? We&#8217;re behind the scenes, watching.\u00c2\u00a0 The real stuff is happening in front of the camera, right?<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s what I may have previously been tempted to say.\u00c2\u00a0 That is, until Errol Morris.\u00c2\u00a0 WOW! He is making us see what we may not necessarily want to see.\u00c2\u00a0 He takes his camera and watches and listens and when it&#8217;s all done he has the tools with which he can build this amazing machine of truth discovery! If you really open your eyes and pay attention, you&#8217;ll realize that you simply can&#8217;t just discount the turkey guy as a nut job.\u00c2\u00a0 You just can&#8217;t do it.\u00c2\u00a0 Sure, we&#8217;ve all wished that there were less &#8220;buzzards&#8221; in the world, but Errol Morris captured the perfect candidate for such lamenting&#8230; ON CAMERA!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>O.K.
