{"id":37,"date":"2007-07-03T14:41:13","date_gmt":"2007-07-03T20:41:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.elsweb.org\/ftcautoblogsum07\/2007\/07\/03\/movies-versus-literature\/"},"modified":"2007-07-03T14:41:13","modified_gmt":"2007-07-03T20:41:13","slug":"movies-versus-literature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.elsweb.org\/ftcautoblogsum07\/2007\/07\/03\/movies-versus-literature\/","title":{"rendered":"Movies Versus Literature"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Movies versus Literature<br \/>\nMovies being discussed is fairly normal, most everyone watches movies.\u00c2\u00a0 As for literature, it is not discussed nearly as often.\u00c2\u00a0 Your average person has no problem going and watching a movie, it doesn&#8217;t take much effort to watch a movie.\u00c2\u00a0 Yet the average person is not as concerned with reading literature, too much effort to read for some.\u00c2\u00a0 Reading requires someone to use their imagination, and to think (I know, Oh wow, You HAVE to think?!).\u00c2\u00a0 As much as I enjoy a good movie, it does not usually take as much effort to follow the plot.\u00c2\u00a0 To watch a movie, you don&#8217;t have to imagine how the characters move and speak.\u00c2\u00a0 To read, you try to picture how the characters look, move, and speak. Essentially, movies are discussed more than literature because people are lazy.
