It&#8217;s not even a matter of whether I like it or hate it, I just find the whole art\/soulmate struggle to be not worth arguing about. Everyone in class on Friday seemed to have very different definitions of what a soul mate is. If we can&#8217;t all get on the same page together, how can we progress. I&#8217;m just anxious to get past this and arrive at\u00c2\u00a0<em>Vertigo. <\/em>I did like seeing Joseph Cotten in a movie that hasn&#8217;t stayed in the collective cultural consciousness the way that <em>Citizen Kane, The Magnificent Ambersons, Shadow of a Doubt, <\/em>or <em>The Third Man<\/em> has. It allows a different angle of the actor. My favorite thing in the film is when they&#8217;ll turn the shot into a painting with what I guess is a filter.
