Oops, I didn’t meant to click on the publish button just yet.\u00c2\u00a0 I just wanted to say a few more words about what type of love I see in “LW.”\u00c2\u00a0 Meg definitely wants a companion.\u00c2\u00a0 She wants to be a “little woman” and play house, so she settles for the first guy that comes along.\u00c2\u00a0 As you can see, the romance is already fading with the birth of the twins.\u00c2\u00a0 Jo ostensibly marries for “love” and looks like she be with Bhaer forever.\u00c2\u00a0 However, I can’t help but think she won’t look around at Meg and Amy and say, “Maybe I should have married a younger, cuter guy.”\u00c2\u00a0 I’m not sure that Amy even knew what she was doing when she married Laurie.\u00c2\u00a0 This totally goes against the girl code of not getting involved with a guy that belonged to another girl (could be a friend, but especially not a sister).\u00c2\u00a0 Jo totally pimped him out.\u00c2\u00a0 Laurie should feel like a commodity.\u00c2\u00a0 In any event, the love I see as being real (and I use the term loosely) is Meg’s relationship with John.\u00c2\u00a0 I only say this because she had relationship that would have been expected of her at the time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
