After watching it I couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t think of anything else, let alone any of the other films we have watched in class; and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m fairly certain I know the reason for my obsessive behavior. I went into Vertigo with the idea of the MacGuffin in mind. I was determined to look past the plot (i.e. The MacGuffin) and find the real meaning behind the film. After the screening, however, I realized that I had not achieved my goal, and I was more confused than ever about what the film was trying to tell me.
