How many people out there carry a music dispensing device like a Walkman or ipod? I recently bought an ipod from a friend of mine it’s having a profound affect on me. No longer do I have to be content with nature or reality, now I have my own world that travels with me in my pocket. Tuning out has become tuning in and it rocks. Music has evolved into a therapy with the revolution of the ipod and it makes a lot of sense when you take the time to think about it. I read an article about ipod therapy a year or two back, whenever the ipod first came out. Regular people were using ipods to help sort our feelings and stay level headed during the day. It’s interesting to think of a therapy where instead of sharing yourself with others you shut them out with music, because that’s how I feel when I’m listening to one. I feel like I’m in my own world, outside the realm of reality where the Pixies are singing over the line in the nest, accompanying smiles, backing up hand gestures with distortion. What a funny world that would be.
Also, I watched the spiders on substances video and I advise everyone else to do so. Immediately

I have an ipod and love it. Thanks to Dr. C. I now get free downloads from BBC radio. I think more than creating our own reality, we just learn to manipulate the one we’re in by picking and choosing our inputs. One more thing, you can get an adapter for the car and escape the hassles of finding a radio station and messing with CDs.
